Van Wilder & The Great Danton!

These two Actors and Characters have been a big part of my life since my teenage years- from Birthday Party dress-ups as Deadpool, at a time when I was still confused between him, Deathstroke and Deadshot, to meeting and gifting some original Artwork to Hugh Jackman whilst he was training like a mad man to get into shape for Wolverine.

The recent movie was a love letter to both Characters, and a showcase for both these Actors who have embodied the roles for over more than a decade, as well as many other older Comic Book movies that paved the way for what we get to enjoy now. I love physical media, and with Comics- the history and nostalgia, the artwork and storytelling format has always been of great appeal.

In late 2024 I wanted to explore and create some Artwork around the Comic theme and with the release of the Deadpool and Wolverine Movie I thought this a great excuse to honour these fantastic Characters and Actors, Writers and Filmmakers and Comic Book Artist’s.

The capsule includes a large selection of different sized Originals and Prints, in different styles and mediums that I was able to experiment with. I am sure I will return to exploring the Comic Book theme in the future, but for now this Capsule is just a fun first release that is very exciting to make available after many a delay. Enjoy!
