FAQ

  • We collect all payments available through this platform including VISA, Debit & PayPal.

    • All of our prices include the 10% Australian GST (Goods and Services Tax) which is included in the final price.

    • VAT is included at checkout

    • Some custom or import fees may be charged on arrival in your country if purchasing internationally. These are set by your country.

  • An ‘Original’ refers to the one-of-a-kind handmade piece of art, which includes all decisions, layering, defects, and marks made with the original medium; graphite, acrylic, gouache, oil paints etc.

A ‘print’ is a derivative art piece of the original drawing, often further refined to suit the final vision for the piece.

A ‘Limited Edition’ print is a run of prints that are capped at a certain number, for example and edition of 50. Only 50 prints will ever be sold of this particular print. These prints are signed and numbered.

An ‘Open Edition’ print, is a print run that has no capped limit to be sold, for as long as it is offered. These prints will be signed, but not numbered.

  • An ‘Artist’s Proof’ is the first batch of test prints that are used to determine quality and finish of the final product. These are not part of the numbered edition if they are offered, they will be signed with an ‘A/P’. There are often fewer that 5 of these available, if any, and can be widely valued by collectors because of their uniqueness, rarity and the glimpse into the artists process.

  • In general:

    • Store your prints flat until you can frame them, either in the sleeve and backing provided or under a piece of clean kraft paper or between cardboard.

    • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.

    • Handle them with care and avoid touching the inks, especially black areas as it could leave fingerprints.

    • Take care not to store in very humid rooms or under harsh lighting.

If your framer offers Art Glass, it’s well worth the extra investment to protect from UV, increase clarity and reduce reflections on the glass.

You can read more on the Artwork Care & Framing page.

  • Currently, we do not offer framing as shipping glass is restricted. We do have a list of fantastic local framers in Victoria on our Artwork Care & Framing page.
