the artist 

Lachlan Hamilton is a Melbourne based multidisciplinary fine artist, with a Bachelor of Arts and Crafts Fine Art Painting, from Monash University.

Driven by nostalgia, Hamilton's art draws on pop culture, comics, street art, music and film to connect with the things that light us up on our best and worst days. In recent years he has shifted to forming ‘capsules’ of different artworks around a single theme to explore particular interests in a variety of different mediums, including oil paint, gouache, acrylic, oil paint and ink.
