Batman & Joker Screen Prints.

< BACK

My first proper Print release. Created with the help of Dangerfork Screen Printings Studio. I had this pair of fineliner and ink drawings laying around that I had made and I thought they could make a nice set of prints, or at worst a fun little project to try out some different formats. Growing up with RISO Print Gocco machines- I had always loved the process and finish that the technique created. And the idea of some striking large scale screen prints was also very appealing.

The crew at Dangerfork went about scanning and digitally pulling apart the images into layers, and we selected some beautiful 70cm x 100cm Hanmuehle paper to print on. The Screens were produced and a lot of time spent on colour matching. A few test prints later and some problem solving we landed on the perfect combinations. The prints came out wonderfully and I was also able to create some extra Variants in different colours.

The initial release included a Pop up residency I had at West ELm and a Comic Con Artist Stall, along with my first foray into designing a website, business cards, packaging and certificates.

They have been a great hit and there are still a handful left, Available through the general Store.
